How long does glow-in-the-dark paint and pigment from the kit glow?
It depends on the colour. Our brightest colours - green and cyan - glow for up to 18 hours. Medium colours like white and blue glow up to 12 hours, and softer warm tones around 8 hours. All powered by strontium aluminate pigment, which recharges indefinitely and never wears out.
How can I maximize brightness and glow in the dark duration?
Apply 2-3 thin coats over a white base coat for maximum brightness - each additional layer adds more glow coverage. Allow each coat to dry fully before adding the next. Then charge under direct sunlight or a UV Flashlight for 10-30 seconds. The longer it charges, the longer it glows.
Do I need to seal my finished glow-in-the-dark project?
It depends on where your piece will live. For indoor projects, sealing is optional - the paint and pigment are durable once dry. For outdoor use, apply a clear weatherproof varnish to protect against weather and wear
