FAQs
How long does your glow-in-the-dark paint and pigment last?
It depends on the colour. Our brightest colours - green and cyan - glow for up to 18 hours after a full charge. Medium colours like white and blue glow up to 12 hours, and softer warm tones around 8 hours. The pigment recharges indefinitely and never wears out.
How do I get the best glow in the dark effect?
Apply over a white base coat for maximum brightness, build up 2-3 thin layers, and charge for 10-20seconds under a UV flashlight or place in direct sunlight. The longer it charges, the longer it glows.
How does glow in the dark paint and pigment actually work?
Our pigments & paints are made from strontium aluminate powder - a rare earth crystal that absorbs and stores light energy, then releases it slowly as a visible glow in complete darkness.
How is GlowThatWows different from glow products I've tried before?
Most glow products you've tried were probably made with zinc sulfide - the budget ingredient that glows for about 45 minutes, then fades out. Ours use strontium aluminate, a professional-grade phosphorescent compound that glows all night, in 18 colours you won't find anywhere else. Same concept, completely different league.
