Mix in Liquitex Slow-Dri Medium to slow drying and give yourself more time to paint. It also makes thick paint easier to spread.

What it does

• Slows drying: Gives you 40% more time to work with your paint, according to Liquitex.
• Helps colours blend: Makes it easier to blend one colour smoothly into another.
• Makes thick paint thinner: Helps your paint spread more easily.
• Adds shine: Gives your paint a shinier finish.

How to use

1. Add a little directly to your acrylic paint or medium.
2. Stir gently to avoid bubbles.
3. Add more until the paint feels right for your project.

If bubbles appear, let the mixture rest until they disappear.

Before you start

The more you add, the thinner and more see-through your paint becomes.

The medium looks slightly cloudy when wet but dries clear. This does not mean your coloured paint will become completely clear.
