How does airbrush medium works?
It thins acrylic paint to a sprayable consistency without weakening it the way water does.
How do I mix glow in the dark pigment for airbrushing?
1 part pigment to 4 parts Fluid Medium, then thin that with Airbrush Medium - start at 1:1 and add more until it sprays cleanly. Strain it before it goes in the cup, and stir between passes: the pigment settles fast. Sprayed layers are thin, so build the glow over several passes rather than one heavy one.
Bubbles appeared when I stirred it. Is that a problem?
Stir gently rather than beating it, and if bubbles form, let the mix stand until they riseand disappear before you spray.
How can I make the sprayed glow brighter?
Build several thin coats, letting each dry before adding another. This places more glow pigment on the surface. Charge the dry paint with UV light or sunlight before checking it in darkness.
Anything I should do afterwards?
Clean the airbrush immediately, before the acrylic has any chance to dry. Dried acrylic inan airbrush is very difficult to remove.
