FAQs
What can glow in the dark pigment be mixed with, and how?
Mix with clear acrylic mediums, resin, epoxy, varnish, glue, nail gel, candle wax and some oils. Use clear or light-coloured mediums for the brightest glow. Start 25% pigment to 75% medium by weight and avoid going above roughly 35%, it can clump.
Which particle size should I choose - 0-30 µm or 65-95 µm?
Choose 0–30 µm for smooth finishes, fine details, fabric, nail gel and airbrush use. Choose 65–95 µm for walls, murals, concrete, resin and other projects where maximum brightness matters more than a perfectly smooth finish.
What is glow in the dark pigment made from?
Our pigments are made from strontium aluminate, a non-radioactive material that stores light energy and releases it as a visible glow. It is brighter and longer-lasting than older zinc sulfide pigments.
How long does glow in the dark pigment work?
Glow time depends on the colour. Our pigments glow for roughly 4 to 12+ hours after a full charge. Exact glow time is listed on each product page description.
How to activate glow in the dark powder?
Charge it instantly with direct sunlight, a UV flashlight or another strong light source. For the stronger glow, expose it for 1 minute before viewing in darkness.
