How long does the glow last after charging?
Glow duration depends on the colour. Most paints glow for up to 12 hours after a full charge, while the brightest colours ( cyan, green and yellow ) can glow even longer. Charge under UV light or sunlight for best results.
Is your glow in the dark acrylic paint waterproof and suitable for outdoor use?
For outdoor projects, we recommend sealing glow-in-the-dark acrylic paint with a UV-transparent clear coat to protect from weather, sun damage and scratches. Make sure the sealer isn’t UV-blocking, so the light can still charge the glow pigments.
What surfaces can I use glow in the dark paint on?
You can use it on canvas, walls, wood, paper, clothing, shoes, and even 3D models! For dark surfaces, it’s best to apply a white base coat first for the brightest glow.
How do I charge glow in the dark paint?
Charge glow-in-the-dark paint by exposing it to a UV flashlight or sunlight. Once exposed, it starts glowing instantly.For the best results, place your artwork on the sunny side of the room or house so it charges all day and shines bright all night.
What makes your glow in the dark paint different?
Our paint uses strontium aluminate powder - a professional-grade material that glows much brighter and longer than the cheap zinc sulfide used in most glow products. It glows for hours after charging. We offer 18 colours - more than most brands - with consistent glow performance across every shade.
